2020 Presidential Election: Biden v. Trump

I'm thinking it's more likely he'll end up in a non-extradition country. I also think he'll try to intentionally break as much as possible before he leaves to make it harder for the incoming president, and am half convinced he's secretly given Russia or North Korea the green light to do something aggressive on inauguration day if he loses.
 
The amount of destruction to official records will be massive. He's already hiding info and destroying it. Pops doesn't appear to care though. He won't leave anything he can find. The only positive is the extreme ineptitude of his administration will leave some records. Career officials are probably also cc'ing as many people as they can in preservation attempts. In a related note, after 3 1/2 years why has no one found the emails? Why has there not been a flood of evidence released (leaked or officially) all of the biden evidence?

Hint it's all bs lies. But at least he has recovered enough from his bone spurs to walked to the a church. The dude did not even hold his own... excuse me... "a" bible to or from.

People are still holding on to the idea that Trump won’t do something because it’s illegal or a President hasn’t done it before.

Trump has 2.5 months after the election to consolidate the resources and power before his term would be up.

We know he will claim there was fraud in the election because he makes that claim about an election he won. We also know Senate Republicans will do everything possible to keep him in power and get more judges.

There are any number of possibilities. He could just get whisked away to Russia. Or he could fight it. I don’t think there will be a forceful transition. Military aren’t going to drag him out. I also don’t think there will be a peaceful transition in which Trump and Melania welcome the Bidens in and Trump participates in the inauguration.

No, Pops would care. He just believes there is 0% chance of this happening.
There enough truly relevant things going on right now that we don’t need such a ludicrous conversation.
 
If some his cronies on Fox said he could do it, Trump very possibly would give it a try.

He has never cared about reality. He has always thought he was above the law. As POTUS, he thinks he IS the law.

Donald is narcissistic enough to believe that the military will simply listen to him. This is what happens in any country where this occurs - whoever controls the military wins the position. That isn’t going to change because we are America or anything. This is why coup d’etats work with military units.

Please; it would NEVER happen. Not here. And I associate with quite a few military and ex military men and women who tell me almost to the person that Trump has no true friends in the military in senior positions.

I didn’t say that the military would side with him (even though they are generally conservative leaning) I said that he’s narcissistic enough to believe that they would support him. Then separately, it’s not like America is any different from any other country in a coup situation: whoever has the military wins because might makes right no matter what political structure you have in place.

Even if the military doesn't respect Donald as a person, there are probably more than a few that like the idea of a military dictatorship and would jump at the opportunity.

That was my 1st thought as well. The less he says and the more he sticks to his speechwriters' scripts between now and November would be helpful.
 
As Politico reports, the list of potential convention sites—all of which “have directly expressed interest in hosting”—include Nashville, Las Vegas, Orlando, Jacksonville, and an unspecified city in Georgia. Party officials are scheduled to visit Nashville later this week and said they will likely make similar visits to other cities in consideration.
