Wake head coaches, Hatch, Currie taking 10% pay cut to offset COVID-19 financial hit

For his 50 games under .500 ACC record Manning should take a 110% pay cut. :dumb:
 
Nice gesture! Sounds as voluntary as a company's annual United Way campaign though.
 
No wonder the voluntary cuts... getting closer to survival. From a Wake email to all: Our primary COVID-19 related financial hit to Wake Forest Athletics is a $2.3 million reduction in our previously budgeted $3.5 million distribution from the NCAA. We do have unfortunate savings from the cancellation of spring competitions, recruiting travel and other activities (about $800,000) and will continue to proactively work to meet our commitment

A $1.5 million overall hit to the budget won't put the AD in survival mode, but potentially losing football revenues will.
