Can't forget the CC Harrison game winning "3-pointer" in OT. Go to 1:31:05. His foot was clearly on the line. Clear as day. And the ref is standing right there.

Yeah take your pick. 2004 was the most egregious of them all. We were just not going to be allowed to leave Death Valley with that win.

This would make for a fun conversation with regards to football and basketball highway robberies we've experienced in the past.

That is a pretty bad call to make against the #4 team at home for a team without a road win to date. Ref did not indicate three upon release, but only after he saw it go in. Did he call a foul, too?



It was good to see Herb Sendek though. Man, State fans hated him, and they have not tasted the success he has brought them since.

That 2004 game at Clemson was my first game as a student. It was a quick and painful introduction into Wake sports.

Neither has Herb. Five straight NCAA Tournaments at State. He’s coached 13 of the last 14 seasons and he’s made the tournament twice.

Watch the Wuffies around the mid-2000s was classic gold. Uncle Lee Fowler with Chuckles the Clown in football and Sad Sidney Lowe following the Herb Garden. Those were the golden days of Pack Pride (especially with the outstanding photoshops of OTF, may he RIP).
 
Watching FSU vs. Wake in 1997 on ESPNews. After Rutland the Deacs had nothing on the perimeter. Nothing.
