Mac McClung updates

That guy is a total clown. Memphis is only a "moderate" winning outlook. With Penny's recruiting, yep, that makes sense. USC got three Top 60 players in the Class of 2019 and the #3 player in the class of 2020. Saying McClung would "likely" be their best players shows ignorance. Saying Wake Forest's "family environment" was unknown confirms the writer did no homework on anything.

That's the same dumbass Yahoo article that was posted the other day.
It's still dumbass.

With Clarke announcing he’s entering the draft, TTU now has an open scholly. Sadly, I think Mac is headed there.

Whatever. He sucks anyways. Didn't want him.

Williamson will be a much better fit for MY DEACS.

TT makes sense for plenty of reasons. Forbes has to get our program to that level.

Beard took the TT program to the moon, in almost no time.

In the 9 seasons before Beard took over the Red Raiders, they went to one NCAA tournament. They never had a winning conference record during that stretch. Texas Tech was about as an irrelevant of a Power 6 program as there was as they had been the worst Big 12 program since the conference realigned. The Red Raiders were a collective 72 games under .500 in Big 12 play over those 9 years.

Beard's first year, TT went 18-14 (6-12). Since then, Beard has gone 75-30 (34-20 in the Big 12); two elite 8s, one final 4, and OT loss in the national finals. While I don't expect a path as meteoric, it just shows what a great coach can do.

Yep, you can't expect him to transfer here before Forbes has even had a chance to start stomping out the Wellman/Bzzz/Manning dumpster fire.

Seriously? I would have bet you $10,000 that Texas Tech has never been to a final 4, let alone the national championship game. Fucking lost decade.

To add to this - check out his one year at Little Rock, compared to the rest of their decade:

2&2 missed UVa over TT? That was a great game.
