Mac McClung updates

Sooo...Back to the possible game changer transfer for us. Any legit insight to who Mac is leaning towards?

Let's say these kids get waivers and we land Hodges and Mac...That's damn near close to a bubble team.

Neath
Mac
Massoud
Muscius
Ody

6- Hodges
7- Dubose
8- Antonio

We could have some real fun with lineups. Need the Polish big man too, or at least another serviceable Big to help Ody and Tariq.

Otherwise, as mentioned, we could have a lineup that looks a lot like what Buzz Williams rolled out a couple years ago making the tourney with no one over 6'8.

would need really good shooting to make up for the presumed pounding we would take (that what she said) on the glass. but yeah i like it - would be a fun team to watch fo sho

What ever happened to Kwe after leaving Tennessee?

He played at NC A&T last year. Averaged 7.2 ppg, 2.3 rpg, and 38.8% from three in 21 games. Team finished 2nd in the MEAC and made it to the tournament semifinals before they were cancelled.

I think he was technically a junior last year, so he should have one more year under his belt.

The comparison ends with heighth. We don't have a senior PG to compare to Justin Robinson, our bigs don't compare to Blackshear, and our wings aren't quite Alexander-Walker. Having said that, the Wake line-up looks a lot better than many of the last 10 years. There is finally hope.

I doubt anything happens until after the vote this week.

Watched a few Gtown games and got the impression McClung needed someone to rein him in a little. Clearly talented and athletic, but also seemed to believe he could drive past and jump over anyone, leading to him being stuffed a lot.

Needs to take a lot of shots to score. Terrific athlete - obviously.
Despite having a dad who is a judge, he's not much of an academic type. I was told getting him into school could take work. But that could be an exaggeration.

TLDR: McClung is good and schools with a free scholarship should come after him. It's actually quite impressive that the guys were supposed to answer a question yet none even came close to giving one. The one thing that is mentioned once or twice is his style of play and the potential that he could help increase interested in the team & attendance at games. Both being things WF desperately needs right now.
