Wake Forest Basketball Recruiting: Juke Harris Commits!!

"What position do you see yourself playing, son?"

"Point guard, sir."

"You're in luck. We play like 3 or 4 of those at a time."

He has a pretty common sense top 6. All ACC or SEC schools. Two similar private schools. Three flagship schools. A lot less random than a lot of kids.

WF is close to offering 2022 6-4 G Rowan Brumbaugh from Mass. Brumbaugh already has offers from Georgetown, VT and Wisconsin. The Ivies are recruiting him too. WF had a Zoom call with Brumbaugh this week and may be offering shortly.

Here is a link to his 247 profile: https://247sports.com/Player/Rowan-Brumbaugh-46113022/

With CP3, Ish, Teague and Muggsy, seems like branding Wake as Point Guard U would make a nice recruiting pitch or at least make for some for good marketing fodder for the school.

kids don't today wouldn't care but Wake PG's in the NBA also include Danny Young, Delaney Rudd, and Frank Johnson. Without doing the actual counting, Wake PG's have probably 70 or more NBA seasons under their belt.

CP3, Teague and Ish combine for more than 35 seasons, as of 2020.

Wake hasn't produced an NBA point guard in over ten years.

Very possible there is a future NBA point guard on the roster.

With three still playing, it still looks good as a selling point.

There is no doubt that Wake Forest, like every other school, touts the NBA players it has produced.
