Best Running/Workout Songs

My wife and I have been listening to RTJ the last few weeks for our weekend outdoor crossfit-style partner workouts.

Neighbors love it, I'm sure.

I wish my wife and I could come to a workout compromise. She exclusively does those Barre-Blend workouts on Beachbody now. Good results, but it's not really tailored to the male capabilities.

My wife and I usually only work out together on the weekends. During the week, I am much more strength-focused. And then on the weekend, she just beats me up with high rep stuff.

I mean, she destroys me in workouts. I've given up on being salty about it... Good for her.

Yesterday's workout was 20 minutes... Partner WOD with one person running 200m while the other does burpees. She did 140+, while I fell just short of 100.

Last week, it was 4 rounds of hang cleans (10 squat and 10 power) and jumping rope (30 double unders)... Yeah, I did more weight (95 vs her 65), but she still dusted me on how quickly she got through the workout.

Which do you hate more, burpees or double unders?

Cornell 5/8/77 Dead show is the absolute best thing to run to...

At 6'2", 200lbs, I hate burpees. I guess my size is a lame excuse, but it's so annoying that my wife (5'4", 115lbs) just turns 'em out one after another with no discernable discomfort. Once I hit rep like 8 or 9, my back starts to get upset and I'm landing in my own gigantic pool of sweat. My lack of endurance is pathetic.

In terms of double unders... I don't hate them, I just suck at them.

6'3" 240 - agree, but gotta get 'em done. Also, in case your wife ever reads the forum, might just wanna edit that out. I'd post hardcore gay porn to these boards before I put my wife's measurements on here. She'd fucking kill me.

I mean, I think if she's 5'4 and 115, she's probably ok with it being known. My wife is 5'8, 125 btw. I'm sure she's fine with me sharing that because she laughed when I told the chat thread the story of her shitting herself on the couch.

I'm way more concerned with all of the pictures she posts on IG of our family than she's concerned about what I post for you jabronis to read.

Ordered rubber gym tiles for the garage this morning. About to pull the trigger on a power rack and bench for the garage.

Don't Keep Me Wonderin' by The Allman Brothers

Perfect pace setter for running. Also, it's only about 4 mins long, which just happens to be the maximum amount of time I run before deciding to stop being a little bitch and get back under the bar.

Skinnydeac doesn't dig cardio.

I've decided I want to be Mark Rippetoe when I grow up.
