In the past, the NCAAF time and TV schedule was set in months in advance for the first couple of weeks of the season. After that, the Networks/League would set the schedule 13 days in advance, with the option of putting games in a 6 day hold situation. The reason for these timeframes was to give those planning to attend the game the ability to set their travel schedules. In large part, no one is attending these games, so there isn't the same need to firm up the schedule 13 days early. Would guess that the time and TV schedule will come out next week, but even then, game times can and will move if certain games are cancelled to ensure TV slots are filled.
The biggest motivation to play these games is to ensure that schools recoup some of their pandemic losses through TV money. So, if a couple of days before the game, ESPN, ABC or the ACC Network needs to fill a TV slot, games will be moved to maximize revenue. IOW, we will get some information next week, but it will be subject to change until close to gameday.
