2020 College Football Coaching Carousel: Sark to Texas

Lane Kiffin wanted to learn more about the Dave Clawson system.

Minnesota hires Ben Johnson as it next coach. If you are asking "who is Ben Johnson", you aren't the only one. He was an assistant at Xavier and previously served as an assistant at Minnesota and N. Iowa. Underwhelming.

Apparently, Johnson has a good rep as a recruiter, and the thought is that he will be able to keep the talent in-state which has been a big problem for the Gophers. Jalen Suggs to Gonzaga being a recent example.

And if you're asking "why is Ben Johnson coaching football", you aren't the only one.

It's because this was the wrong thread. PJ Fleck is still rowing the boat for the gridiron Golden Gophers.

The Les Miles scandal at LSU has now claimed the President of Oregon State, F. King Alexander. In 2013, Alexander was the Chancellor of LSU, and he received the recommendation from LSU AD Joe Alleva that they fire Les Miles based upon the allegations against him. Alexander's defense was that LSU legal counsel advised that LSU should not fire Miles; so, Alexander elected not to terminate Miles. When this news came to light, Oregon State's Board of Trustee's accepted Alexander's resignation today. Guessing LSU's counsel still has his job....
