nice autocorrect catch. However, you might say Virginia has succeeded by moving away from its racist past and turning into a blue state. WVa on the other hand appears to be all in on trumpism and turning the clock back.

Lincoln heavily facilitated the separation of West Virginia so he'd have more senators to support the antislavery agenda.

The 1776 project told me that Jesus has spoken through our divinely chosen elected officials to admit all states to the Union and to draw their borders in order to build Christ's kingdom on earth.
