the official new supreme court thread - Very political

Yeah we need only young, sharp minds in politics

Yes, the "original intent" of the framers guaranteed you the right to ride your horse, donkey, or burro unrestricted all over the country.

I haven't forgotten Biden, but at least he's limited to two terms at most. Most of those Congressmen and Senators you marked out just stay there forever, with no limits whatsoever. Also, as someone who's old enough to remember Reagan's second term, the adverse effects of old age knows no party.

Trump airlines, don’t call it a come back!

So many opportunities. Trump Airlines. Trump Hospitals. Trump Pharmaceuticals. Trump Baptist Church. Trump Voting Machines.

Who had "Trump limited edition footballs"?

No chance he can sit still long enough to sign more than two footballs.

And love the new tag line. Save America! Can't take three more years of that bs.

that fucking stupid signature of his probably does cramp one's hands after the first couple of signings

The lawyer for Mississippi argued that the issue of abortion should be returned to the people, that is the states.

Why can't the choice remain with the pregnant woman and not with the old white guys making up state government? How is that returning the issue to the people?

Why is “the people” the states, but not the federal government or even the free market?

Good lord you people need a civics lesson

So we need to bend the knee to the system created by wealthy enslavers rather than question it. You’re so transparent.

Seems like the overturning of Roe v Wade would be the ultimate case of judicial activism.

Just like January 6th right?

Umm, sure, I guess? A bunch of idiots stormed the Capitol to try to prevent the Vice President from certifying the election results and many of them are now in jail. I’d say that’s a pretty good lesson in civics, sure.
