Mount Rushmore of TV Detectives

Not nearly as good as BLUE THUNDER, the first movie i saw rated R.

The woman in Mod Squad had a tv detective daughter too. Though a damn good show but I wouldn't put Angie Tribeca on tv detective Mt. Rushmore.
 
Forgot about Peter Falk as Colombo. Also loved him and Alan Arkin in The In-Laws.

She would be a great partner for Frank Drebin. "Police Squad" was a great if short-lived show. "I hate to bother you at a time like this. I would have come earlier but your husband wasn't dead then."
 
I can't believe I forgot to include Drebin, Police Squad! is by far my favorite "cancelled after 6 episodes" tv series. I'll strike my 2nd vote for Magnum and insert Frank.

All the Police Squad! eps are on Youtube, btw.
