Bond, James Bond. Sean Connery dead at age 90

Didn't realize he was that old. 90 is a pretty good run. Loved him as Bond and in Time Bandits, Great Train Robbery, Indiana Jones and Hunt for Red October. The 1st thing I think of when I hear his name is the SNL portrayal - the rapists, le tits now, catch the semen, anal bum cover.

I liked Roger Moore as Bond and enjoy Daniel Craig's take on the role, but Sean Connery will always be James Bond to me. I also enjoyed him in The Hunt for Red October, A Bridge Too Far (great WW2 film), and The Wind & The Lion. And of course as Indy's dad in The Last Crusade. What a life. RIP.

Never knew until now he turned down the role of Gandalf in the LOTR films.
 
Sad news. 2020 claims another icon of film. The original and, IMHO, the best James Bond.

He had a great run from James Bond to Indy's Dad, with lots more great roles.

Condolences to his family and friends. RIP, 007.
