Mexico landing a stud up front to replace (or backup) Raul Jiminez

Rogelio Funes Mori to be called up to Mexico men's national team
The Argentine striker joined Monterrey in 2015 and is about to complete his naturalization procedure to be called up to the Mexican national team for the International break this month.

83 goals over the 6 seasons for him in Liga MX. Which is good but not Gignac good - 102 goals over the same time period.
    Football. Bloody Hell.

He's the Mexican Wondo. Not worried about it.

For anyone with ESPN+, Herculez Gomez and Sebastian Salazar debuted a new CONCACAF focused show last night that airs at 6:00pm est on Mondays and Thursdays moving forward. Great content, had a very latin flair feel to it. They brought on Julie Foudy as a special guest last night and will have Tyler Adams join on Thursday. Worth watching if you have access.

Official US Soccer / World Cup 2022 Thread (yunUS mUSAh please)

A "leaked US Olympic Qualifying" roster is making the rounds on Twitter today (apparently CONCACAF assigned numbers #1-20 to certain players on the provisional list on their website) and holy shit is it bad. Zero athleticism at CM - no Tessman, Bassett or Williamson. Just a bunch of DMs and wingers. Hopefully it is not true, because if it is and we don't qualify then Jason Kreis needs to be canceled.

Who was in charge when we didnít qualify last time? It was Porter back in 2011, right?

Idk, I was on a bus to the Rose Bowl in 2015 to watch us get beat by Mexico. 2nd darkest day in USMNT history?

I do remember Sean Johnson had a major error in 2011

Yep, his brother. Both of whom actually lived in Texas for awhile as kids and played for FC Dallas youth teams. But neither are eligible for US.

We lose Efra but gain Musah. Huge win for the US.

Musah will be getting Champions League minutes at CM in 2-3 years. He's being played out of place by the disaster that is Valencia.

Is Efra to Mexico actually a done deal? I'm not so sure.
