I did the same thing last year, I picked 6 guys who I thought would make the cut, rather than 4 who I thought would win. I gotta remember this for next year. Also should have had Webb.

Put the wammy on him. DJ started on the back and bogied #14 with a bad 3 putt, and then bogied 15 when he put in the water. Momentum halted.

Thrilled that we won’t have to hear about Dechambeau all weekend. Well we probably will but not because he’s in contention. Good leaderboard right now, should be exciting.

Not so fast my friend. Evens are playing the weekend now. Though it was great to watch Dechambeau chip it over the top level on 18, insuring his bogie. I love watching him be in a terrible mood.

A lot of chalk around the top. With Dechambeau 9 back, now it's anyone but Reed.

Rahm has been playing really well, very consistent. Would be happy to see him win. His par save on 15 was crazy, totally under control. Should be some fireworks this weekend if DJ keeps rolling.

Not a DJ fan, but I have no problem with him winning another major or 2 given what he's been through at the majors. Dude was on complete cruise control hitting something like 17 greens and having tap in pars to go with a handful of birdies. And this when everyone else was getting a few birdies then shooting themselves in the foot. Tomorrow looks like a race for second. BTW, I need to start thinking more about Ancer in these things - he's really had a great last 2 years. And I remember Cam Smith wearing those penguin shirts when he won - think in Houston. I thought whoever made those shirts went bankrupt back in the 90s. Is that an Aussi company or something? Smith is literally the only person I've seen wearing 1 of those in 20+ years.
