Assuming that is true, and Ossoff wins about 80% of them, that still won't give him the lead over Perdue at this point. Unless there are a significant number of other large Democratic-leaning counties with some votes to report he's still in some trouble, or so it would seem.

As of this moment that's not correct, Ossoff would take the lead.

NYT predicting 85-15 split and still confident about Ossoff winning.

I’m waiting for screamin to drop what the betting markets say and for Deacman to share his recent mathematical modeling, until then it’s still a toss up

Have to say, if this actually happens, having both the Presidential election and Senate runoffs flip blue due to late dumps from DeKalb and Co. is about as satisfying a way to do it as anything.

It honestly feel like time has stopped as we wait for the big dump

Dump just happened. 95% reported now, previously 91%

Warnock now up. Ossoff only down by ~3,000.

I'm seeing the big DeKalb dump just came in and it's at 50.0/50.0 now.

It's unfortunately looking like Warnock will win in that race.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Loeffler was a great candidate

NY Times has both Dems at over 95% to win now. Unreal.

Yeah, this Perdue Ossoff race is gona be cloooooose.

Don't the dems pick up a few senate seats in 2022 based on the map? It's mainly about being able to keep the House in 2022.

Yeah. People keep talking about how Dems will do worse because it will be Biden's midterm, but that doesn't account for the map. Swing state Republicans in 2022 are vulnerable (Rubio, Burr's empty seat, Toomey's empty seat, Ron Johnson). Democrats are protecting blue states. Kelly is probably the most vulnerable. The Dems on the block won despite Trump winning while the 2022 Republicans won on Trump's coattails.

I'm enjoying the gap between Ossoff and Warnock absolutely blowing all the minds of the pundits. As if there is no comprehensible reason anyone would ever vote for just one or the other. I mean, have they met actual people lately?

Yeah, compare who they are running against there’s your answer.

Seriously. We've been talking about this for 2 months. It's annoying to see professionals who are dumbfounded or scared to talk about how GA roots, sexism, anti-Semitism, religion play into the election.

T&Ps.

all thanks to the most bland human being to run for office, Cal Cunningham

though I wonder how Georgia plays out if Dems were one short instead of two

Hard to believe that the control of the United States came down to some woman in California wanting to fuck Cal Cunningham.

It's going to be hilarious if Perdue loses by less than 0.5% and demands a recount despite Warnock winning by over 1%. Yet another futile recount.
