Since 2009. This culture fostered the Tea Party. They couldn’t control it and it turned into Trumpism. They can’t control that either.

The tea party believed (pretended they did) in principles (shitty and dumb but... ok?)
Trumpublicans believe what trump says. That's it. It was definitely a major escalation of the modern gop. Thanks mitch et al.

The Tea Party was just based on being against Obama. The current GOP is just based on being for Trump. The GOP hasn’t had core values except power in a long time.

Found some of the answers to my earlier questions in a Washington Post article.

Perdue will cease being a Senator on Jan 3. That seat will be vacant until the election is certified. Kelly Loeffler continues to hold her seat until the winner of that runoff is certified.

Apparently the republicans won't try to organize until they see how the Georgia elections go.

Different from the Senate in the 50's which was reorganized multiple times as Senators died or left office and were replaced.

Will be interesting (scary?) what Trumpism turns into.

The GOP has been trending this way. Trump just sealed the deal. The cult of personality just brought more people in. This isn’t going away. The cult of Reagan didn’t.

Well they still love Reagan, but it is not as though they are able to win elections under his flag. They’ll need a new dear leader.

Will the Joe the Plumber's of this world turn out for the GA specials, the 2022 mid terms, or in 2024 if candidate isn't trumpy enough?

pretty amazing how Kemp was the most hated man among Dems in 2018 and now he's the most hated man among Pubs in 2020

Your modern gop everyone! No style and ccertainly no substance.

Janelle King is a former Deputy State Director for the Georgia Republican Party, by the way.

Virtually all of them are gone in rural Rockingham Co., NC. There were, as you'd expect, a ton up before the election.

Based upon Facebook from my former hometown, I would have thought the flags of protest were still flying. There is one woman that quit work and took another job because her manager wasn't "supportive".

She's a medical assistant so she made money on the change too.
