At least Walton called out all the ticky tack foul calls.
This afternoon, Drexel beat Quinnipiac 70-58 at the Mohican Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT as part of the Bubbleville start of the season. While the result between two mediocre D1 teams is not significant, the weird thing about the game is that Drexel beat Quinnipiac 66-48 on the same court yesterday. While there may be a valid reason, just seems odd that the organizers of the event would decide to schedule the same two teams against each other on consecutive days when there are at least 6 other teams in Uncasville today (NC State is playing UMASS-Lowell right now at the same site).
Marcus Watson Jr. was 2-12 with 4 TO's off the bench today for Western Illinois. Will be interesting to see where he ends up, I doubt he stays at WIU for his whole career.
GT leading Kentucky 45-39 w/ 14 min left in 2H. Saar has 2/2
0-2 Tech now up 17 w/o 8 to go. 19 TOs for UK. GT center Moses Wright has 21/5 vs Saar and UK.
If Sarr wanted to lose to GT, he could have stayed at Wake and had multiple opportunities for that.
Small sample size, but this is the worst Kentucky team I’ve seen Cal has been the coach. They might me very talented individually, but they are not a good team. Neither BJ Boston or Devin Askew look capable of running an offense.

The Greensboro College Pride just knocked off Longwood, 67-64.
people who don’t like bill walton are people I don’t want to hang out with
Ohio led Cleveland St 46-25 with 1:41in 1st half. Scored last 5 of the half and the NEXT 35 to open second half for a 40-0 run, largest ever in D1. Yes it was 86-25 before CSU scored again with 8:03 to go.
Why did you have to bring up Cleveland State?
L'ville basketball now on a COVID pause. Their ACC/Big 10 matchup against Wisconsin has been cancelled. Wonder if the COVID issue will leak into the Cards' football program?
I am thinking that college basketball will actually be ok, once all the Covid runs thru the systems now that students are off the campuses since the Thanksgiving holidays. Teams will be settling down with just themselves & their coaches on campus and playing a few games all the way thru mid-January. So maybe we can get some ACC games played by then before Covid starts up again when students come back flaring from Thanksgiving-Christmas break.
