Realize that he doesn't have the rings, but CP3 turns NBA teams around like few people in the history of the league.
The year before CP3 went to New Orleans, they went 18-64. In Paul's rookie year, they improved by 20 games, and the Hornets (now Pelicans) were 58 games over .500 in his 6 years there. The year after CP3 left, the New Orleans won 21 games.
The year before CP3 joined the Clippers, they went 32-50. In Paul's first season in LA, the Clips went 40-26 (shortened season), and won 50 plus games each year, he was with LAC after the first year.
The year before CP3 joined the Rockets, they went were good (55-27). Really hard to improve on 55 wins. In CP3's first year in Houston, they went 65-17. The Rockets have had some great teams, but that was the franchise best record by 9 games.
Last year, with the loss of Paul George and Westbrook, the common thinking was that OKC was going in the tank, and that CP3 would be dealt as Thunder went into rebuild mode. That roster with CP3 and little else (other than CP3, OKC's leading scorers were Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Dennis Schroeder), the Thunder somehow went 44-28, and pushed Houston with Harden and Westbrook to 7 games. With CP3 gone, OKC has collapsed as they are currently are 20-30.
Then, this year, the Suns, a team that has not had a winning season since 2014 and that went 34-39 last year, added CP3 and is now sitting a top the NBA at 35-14.
Just crazy what a massive difference CP3 has made at each stop along the way.
