What was your favorite school lunch as a kid?

I remember the burgers had these weird gloopy circular pockets all over them, entire patty was grey and had the consistency of cardboard. They smelled so bad everyone called them crap burgers.

Had to smother that shit in ketchup and douse the fries in salt.

I agree there is nothing to wax poetic about when it comes to public school lunches back in the day. I guess they've gotten better?
