Official Duke's Mayo Bowl vs. Wisconsin Thread

Huge series for the D. They can't allow Wisky to bully ball down the field.

Hartman with 2 high passes after Greene bobble and drop. He needs to calm down.

Wisconsin just pounding the ball right down the field. Not a good sign.

Remember kids, if you can run it up the middle every play for 4 yards, you never have to punt

Ha, not sure we want Smenda on that cover but it worked out...

Haven't really been listening to the broadcast. Is there a reason why Mertz is going to the sideline to get the playcall each time instead of just through the headset? Seems weird.

Good stop by the D on a gift of a third down play call. This is the situation where a 5 min drive by the offense would be incredibly helpful, and where I get frustrated with Clawson for running hurry up. A 1 min drive and a punt would be very bad.

The D stepped up.

Offense needs ninety yards for a TD. Passes to CBS to simulate the run may be required.

Two runs for a first down. Could take 80 seconds off the clock but we burn 30. Why?

Yeah. It's like he's scrambling between plays instead of during a play.

Hartman needs to chill out a bit.

We're pretty sure at least two teams were intercepting the play calls. (Northwestern and Indiana)

Wake O is sputtering. Special teams has a bad snap, mishandled by the punter and blocked by Wiscy, they have it on our doorstep.

Absolutely terrible play calling and game management. No lessons learned after the UNC comeback.
