Wolford potentially to start next week against Arizona?

Wolford needs to come home and be the starter for the Panthers.

Seriously, it's looking more and more like Wolford will either start or play some important snaps in the playoffs.

McVay claims it's a gametime decision and he won't make an announcement

Speculation is that Wolford will start, but that McVay wants the Seahawks to prepare for both.

John Wolford v. Russell Wilson....

I just really like the fact that our guy remains in the conversation. Could be a really big SATURDAY. And someone better encourage more shout outs to WF by Wolford to increase WF exposure if Timmy Clutch is correct about Newman and Walker transfers.

FYI for anyone interested the game is actually on Saturday.

Too bad Phil Haynes is injured. Otherwise Wake might have two starters in the game.

Goff listed as questionable.

If he starts he’ll be only the second Super Bowl era playoff starter with no career TD passes. Jaworski only other.

Any update on this?

Jared Goff (thumb) 'pushing to play' but it remains 'a challenge'
by Jon Mathisen | Rams Correspondent | Fri, Jan 8th 9:53pm EST

Jard Goff, who is recovering from surgery to repair a broken thumb on his throwing hand, has thrown the ball well during practice this week and is "pushing to play," sources told Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Rapoport added that it remains a "challenging" situation and that John Wolford took the majoirty of snaps this week and is preparing to start against the Seahawks on Saturday. Goff is showing a lot of toughness by trying to play just two weeks after breaking his thumb and head coach Sean McVay is keeping his final decision close to the vest. Goff was listed as questionable as late as Thursday of this week but this latest report makes it sound as if Wolford will be the guy on Saturday. We likely won't know for certain until just before kickoff.

SB Nation article posted an hour ago said McVay told the team Wednesday who was starting. Unconfirmed is it’s wolford which makes sense if the Wednesday decision is true.
