Wolford potentially to start next week against Arizona?

If the Rams win, they are in. The Bears have to beat the Packers to make it. If the Bears lose they are out and the Rams are in. The only way the Rams miss out is if they lose and the Bears win.

Bears can lose to GB and make the playoffs if Arizona loses

either way, the Rams-Cards game will have a team playing for its playoff life irrespective of the Bears

FWIW, the Rams also have Bryce Perkins (UVA QB) on their roster. He will be active on Sunday. Not beyond the realm that McVay might have a package for Perkins.

If CHI wins, each team needs to win to make the playoffs-it's basically a de facto playoff game. If CHI loses, LAR is in, and AZ is playing for its playoff life. So this game is definitely featuring at least one team fighting for its playoff life, possibly two, and thus should be on Sunday night because the teams are better than WAS/PHI (and I say that as an out of town Eagles fan who watches them at every opportunity).

Goff had surgery. He is definitely slated to start.

Curious... if Wolford leads them to the playoffs, how long does it take Goff to heal sufficiently from a broken thumb to be able to get back on the field?

Goff might be able to play in the 1st playoff game, though would be questionable. It's nice to see Wolford get some pub here, though it would be preferable if he had Akers, Henderson and Kupp. On the other side, Murray is questionable but says he's playing.

Clawson says “Clemson plays the right way and is never chippy.” After discussing their suspensions.

He definitely spoke well of Wolford and Trevor Lawrence and even said we were one of the first teams to offer Justin Fields, and he remembers him coming to his office in Winston as a sophomore. “Then that blew up.” Sounded a little LOWF but what are you gonna do.

Some decent if basic exposure for the Deacs. The best exposure will be Wolford playing well tomorrow.

As long as they give him a better game plan than Denver gave Hinton, John will show well.

Rams have had a whole week to put together a game plan for Wolford. Also, he has been the number 2 quarterback all season, so he gets those reps weekly and has had the QB playbook all season. Unlike Hinton, who spent the season as a wide receiver and had just a few hours notice that he would be the QB. Not even one live practice, just a walk-through.
