Sheep Week 7: Congrats Nonny! Extends his season lead...

In spite of a solid week, not noticing sheep for the first few weeks looks like it's gonna keep me out of the playoffs.

Any chance you want to switch to average finish instead of total points?

Meaning if you didn't play it doesn't count as a week towards your average? No, I don't think that would be fair to the players who have played every week (or close to it). The drop week is meant to account for that in a way. But for shits and giggles, only counting the weeks players played:

Top 3 players only played 1 week. Not gonna go do a formula for average score with a minimum number of weeks played, sry.
 
average doesn't work because then if you only played in weeks with a lot of participants and higher scores your score is way inflated

you'd have to normalize each week to like 100 or something and then average that
 
glad to see that i'm back in my usual spot but yet only 4 spots out of the playoffs due to regular participation. if i make it, i'm the dayton play-in game winner between 16 seeds for the #1 seed.
 
I was talking about average finish, not average points per week.

So, if you finish in 1st in one week and 3rd in another and we only had two weeks, your average finish would be 2nd.
 
oh an interesting concept, and i'm happy to send the spreadsheet with scores to anyone who feels like running that calculation but it ain't me
