2021 Republican Coup (Practice Run)

y'all are just embarrassed by little red lubette

on a further note, seems rather strange to be discussing a deranged Black Muslim cop killer's attack on the capitol with a knife on a thread about some Republican coup attempt, time for y'all to admit that this attack had nothing to do with Republicans or any coup, think you can manage that?

So dumb.

You aren't worthy of anyone admitting being wrong to given you've never once walked back any of the dozens of awful, incorrect, or morally reprehensible positions you've had.

I guessed you'd be a cowardly, humorless wuss and was proven correct.

Or you could be a grown-up and admit you were wrong. Just to keep things fresh around here.

EXACTLY what I've asked you to do for about year and you have refused to do.

Hmmmm...isn't there a word for that?

In a few weeks or a few months, we'll know more about the man at the Capitol. At that time, we'll be able answer for it. You've had about a year and haven't admitted how wrong you were.

So RJ is arguing with a poster that joined in August about something that happened a year ago?

Sure. Why not?

Compared to the GOPs greatest hits?

Seriously. Compare AOC to the new GOP House star Marjorie Taylor Greene, and it's obvious which party should be embarrassed. Or better still, compare the entire "Squad" to new GOP House stars Greene, Boebert, and Cawthorn. You may not agree with everything a member of the Squad says or does, but in terms of ethics, intelligence, sense of purpose, and pretty much everything else there's no comparison, unless one seriously wants to argue that a Qanon believer who associates with known racists and threatens other House members (Greene), a scam artist whose restaurant caused food poisoning in a local fair and has multiple legal charges in her twenties and moans about not being able to carry a pistol into Congress (Boebert), and a proven liar about most of the items on his resume who has stated that one of his life goals is to visit Hitler's vacation getaway (Cawthorn) are better than any member of the Squad.

what is the point of a company as big as Toyota donating such a paltry amount to a candidate? do they give that much to everybody in the House? how much influence would that even have on someone like Foxx anyway?

Is it a recurring donation? Is it the max?

$3500 is probably enough to buy a hideous mailer with a picture of joe Biden in a coffin or something racial about Harris, although some of the proud patriotic print shops in that district might make those for free.

Pretty sure that there is a candidate max, but they can donate whatever much larger amounts to the generic "American Truth" et al, PACs that don't support a specific candidate, but get around the finance rules anyway.
