Hey guys, it was in the past. Time to move on and heal as a nation. This certainly will not happen again. Republicans have moved on from Trump.

Sounds eerily like how the defeated South rewrote the history of the Civil War to suit their ends. The war wasn't really about slavery, both sides fought for good causes and were filled with noble and chivalrous men, the South was only fighting in self-defense and had better generals and soldiers and lost only because of overwhelming Yankee numbers and industry, and after the war black men ran riot raping white women and ruling incompetently and corruptly alongside greedy Yankee carpetbaggers while those defeated and poor but proud Southern whites were bled dry (they were the real victims of the war, you know). And so on. They seem to have a knack for reframing history to make themselves look much better than they actually were.

No but it makes them comfortable and more likely to be selfish (their own self interest before their constituents and the country). More likely to be beholden to special interests as well.

No, but it does make him (like many other Senators) too complacent, selfish, and out of touch with people that are still of working age in this country. Plus, like Feinstein, there is evidence of mental deterioration as well. The treason is just the icing on the cake.
 
Sure but Grassley isn’t that much different that Madison Cawthorn with respect to the basics. Grassley has more respect for rules and process, but the same disdain for democracy.
 
To be fair... Grassley is evil while hawthorn is a f*cking dolt.
