Impeachment: The Sequel

They’re begging to get their guns confiscated to activate the 2A nuts to march on the Capitol again

That’s what it looks like. Legally carrying means legally going through a security check. Who knows what else she could be carrying?

She’s also the one who tweeted the whereabouts of Pelosi during the siege when they were explicitly told not to do any social media about their whereabouts. Feel like she’d be happy to get kicked out of Congress to get the grift tour started ASAP. She’d be set for life.

so a law and order congresional representative with the legal right to carry a weapon in dc and the capital won't follow the rules to walk through the metal detector and notify security that she is carrying. nothing to see here.

I think we’ll find out that she is lying about having a “legal right to carry”.

Get ready for Republican in Name Only Mitch McConnell

There's no way to force him to resign.

Mitch walks in and tells Trump that there are 20 Republican Senators ready to vote to convict in an impeachment trial, or resign. Similar to what happened to Nixon. Goldwater and a few other senior Republicans explained Senate math to Nixon. Nixon resigned.

However, it is unclear if Trump would resign even under that scenario- McConnell, Graham tell Trump. If McConnell and Graham vote to convict, they should be able to bring 20 more republican senators along. Howeber, that is a gigantic IF.

Trump would dare them to vote to convict and then drag them in every speech he gives for the rest of his life. Conviction would be the final evidence of what he’s been saying all along. There is a deep state plotting to take him down. Q would have a field day. Those Republicans lives would be at risk.

They wanted to hang you, Mike.

"The benefit of the 14th Amendment over impeachment is that it allows Democrats to hold Trump accountable without the need to gather a bipartisan supermajority of senators, which lawmakers say is unlikely because Republican obstruction has defined nearly every effort to bind Trump to the rule of law. It also bypasses the challenge of invoking the 25th Amendment, which requires the support of Vice President Mike Pence. The main drawback — the 14th Amendment's lack of a removal clause — could be remedied through well-deserved impeachment, though Trump's departure in a week will make this issue moot."

At this point, is it really a safe assumption that he will leave office next week?

I have no doubt

The guy already incited an riot to invade the capital building while they were count the EC votes against him. He’s now said that his words and actions were “totally appropriate.” Seems like taking every measure to ensure that he actually leaves office next week, or before, like impeachment, is a good idea. I am not convinced he is just going to peacefully walk out the door next Wednesday.

He'll leave either voluntarily or involuntarily. The Joint Chiefs of Staff have made it clear they are done with his shit. I don't think he will want a military perp walk out of the White House, so he will probably leave on his own.

are there any people in this country dumber than this 6% that want don jr?
