Capitalism

And in 5-20 years when a new Twitter takes over, it won't be worth much. The person who bought it should sell it soon.

They're probably paying great wages, awesome benefits, and way more than their share of corporate taxes.

Potato chips would cost $100 a bag if workers had rights. Be careful what you wish for, libs.

Republicans: they should bootstrap themselves to a better job. Then they'd be able to get a valid ID and vote in person on a Tuesday from 9-5.

The aliens are gonna go really easy on us when we start dumping shit into space rather than just make our footprint smaller and cleaner.

Yeah…wtf?

Can’t exactly move polluting industry into space. Good grief.

Definitely makes more sense to make industry less polluting here.

Much of the heavy polluting industry has burning something - coal, oil, gas, wood etc. as a key part of its processes. The energy required to move that much fuel and oxygen to space would be massive and would create more pollution than would be removed, at least until cheap, pollution free methods of getting stuff to orbit are available.

That's not the reason I posted the tweet. I posted it because of the quote from the former Harvard Business Review editor: "Over the nearly 75 years for which we have reliable quarterly GDP and monthly jobs numbers, the growth of both has been markedly faster during Democratic presidencies than Republican ones." That's a lot longer than just the Trump Administration.
