Fit could have tried to flip picks into more future draft capital. Getting more future 2nd and 3rds was possible.

So Aaron Rodgers is supposedly going to retire for a year, then unretire to force a trade to a contender. Aaron wants to do a "Brady." Do we get him if Philly gets Watson? Can we build enough of a team to be a desired destination for him?

Really wish Fit had wheeled and dealed for more future 2nd round picks. I don’t see this trade happening without giving up one or two of the actual good players on the roster. There’s still the issue of getting a LT to protect Watson.

If you really want Watson, it might be a good idea to pay the asking price now before the Eagles, Phins and Giants have had full seasons to evaluate Hurts, Tua and Jones. Both the Eagles and Giants have multiple 1sts in next year's draft, and I see all 3 conveniently waiting till next offseason before ponying up that many picks for a guy who will probably be on the exempt list this year. Your only competition now might be Denver, who would presumably want Watson if GB isn't trading Rodgers. And I'd think Houston would rather trade Watson to the NFC.
 
That's their public asking price, it will be lower than that unless it becomes a bidding war. Offer them 2 firsts, a second and a player and go from there

Benjamin has been cut by the Giants, after one practice, nonetheless.
