The keystone pipeline is canadian extracted oil That we would process and turn around and export out because it's mostly dirtier oil than we use here in the United States. So net impact on US energy independence is 0, when it would be operational several years from now.

As for the tweets. They reacted quickly and their points stand if an actual hate crime had occurred. Unlike... some people... they aren't hiding/deleting their mistakes/tweets as if they didn't happen.

I think it's fair to assume any Republican who brings up Al Sharpton unprovoked has some serious racial hangups. This case would have attracted national news with or without him.
