WFU Hoops: Roster Construction - +LaRavia/Taylor/Walton/Monsanto/Williams/Sy/Marsh

Although Wake is the favorite for Monsanto, Arkansas taking 6-6 transfer guard Stanley Umude pretty much takes Arkansas out of consideration for Monsanto I would assume.

Agree Arkansas is stacked at the 2 and 3 spots right now:

- Davonte Davis
- Jalen Tate
- Moses Moody

All currently returning (Moody could go pro; Tate is a senior who could opt to not return).

They have added:

- Audiese Toney (Pitt transfer)
- Stanley Umude (S. Dak. transfer)

From the class of 2021 they have 4 star Chance Moore.

FWIW, thought Butler was the primary competition for Monsanto.

Chris Lykes (Miami PG) also opted for Arkansas.

That second image with the Wake Forest color way CP3s is so sick.

Hell yes...Forbes is completely making this roster over. Let's go! Whose next!

We are getting scary close to minutes projections...And we are going to be good again.

This get was really huge. Fills the need of size and shooting on the wing. Oh and he still has 4 years of eligibility remaining.

Disappointing on McKoy but college kids are nothing if not impulsive. Pretty questionable leaving a coach like Bennett for a guy who has never coached a single game. Oh well, we have plenty of talent to be significantly improved next year.

LaRavia, Walton and Monsanto is better than what I was expecting out of the portal frankly. Love that Monsanto has 4 years of eligibility also.

Very curious decision by mckoy. To be honest , I thought he might have trouble finding pt at Wake

You can make a conservative argument that we had no ACC level starters last year. Monsanto is the SoCon FOY. LaVaria was MVC All-Frosh and All-Newcomer. They’re going to be ACC level starters. That’s a huge upgrade. Both could challenge for All-ACC honors.

So what's the scouting report on Monsanto? His highlight video looks great, but it's a highlight video.
