NFL Year 2021 Superbowl LVI. Rams win! Wolford gets a ring!.

Good post by 2&2.

Why is that news? Was it ever likely that he wasn't going to play for the Packers this year? It's like these people don't simply make up shit because they like attention.

Lamar Jackson tests positive for COVID.

He was getting tested daily, which means he hasn't yet been vaxxed. He had a bad bout of covid last year. You would have thought that would have encouraged him to get the vaccine.

How dare he live a lifestyle so that he would acquire cancer. People make such bad choices.

I wonder if Ward will be that vitriolic if unvaccinated players cause a game forfeiture and loss of game checks by every player on the team.

The oft injured Carson Wentz is hurt again. Foot injury with an indefinite time table to return. Colts really put all of their eggs in the Wentz Basket heading into the season as the other QBs on the roster are:

Jacob Eason
Sam Ehlinger
Jalen Morton

With the Texans issues and the Jags in rebuild mode, might want to buy a division title ticket on the Titans.

The Titans were the clear favorite regardless. What are their odds?

They were not the clear favorite by odds until today. In fact, the Colts had a higher win total (Colts had/have a win total of 10 and the Titan had a win total of 9.5). I got the Titans at +110 to win the AFC South.

From The Athletic yesterday:

When Micah Hyde was a rookie in Green Bay, veterans told him they would learn his name when he started making plays.

On Thursday, during the second practice of Bills training camp, second-round rookie Boogie Basham made a play that will make his name easy for Hyde to remember.

While pushing the pocket against Josh Allen, Basham got his hand in a passing window and tipped the ball in the air. He then had the body control and awareness to find the ball, haul it in and return it for a touchdown, inspiring a spirited reaction from his defensive teammates.

“Making a play like that, a splash play like that, play of the day, and he’ll continue making plays like that,” Hyde said. “It’s going to force vets to know his name.”

Here’s what else we learned at the second day of Bills’ training camp.
