From The Athletic yesterday:
When Micah Hyde was a rookie in Green Bay, veterans told him they would learn his name when he started making plays.
On Thursday, during the second practice of Bills training camp, second-round rookie Boogie Basham made a play that will make his name easy for Hyde to remember.
While pushing the pocket against Josh Allen, Basham got his hand in a passing window and tipped the ball in the air. He then had the body control and awareness to find the ball, haul it in and return it for a touchdown, inspiring a spirited reaction from his defensive teammates.
“Making a play like that, a splash play like that, play of the day, and he’ll continue making plays like that,” Hyde said. “It’s going to force vets to know his name.”
Here’s what else we learned at the second day of Bills’ training camp.
