Biden has a consequence of misplaced priorities — the administration is too focused on climate change and renewable energy to fix the oil and gas supply. What in the world was he thinking in closing down the Keystone XL pipeline anyway? Gas lines are forming up and down the East Coast while Biden is "fiddling in Rome"

The assault — via ransomware from the cyber gang DarkSide — is the latest ransomware strike on U.S. companies, and it is the biggest ever cyber assault on U.S. energy infrastructure. Those rising risks have cast a spotlight on some holes still in the Biden administration's teams that are tasked with bolstering U.S. defenses.

It took Biden almost three months to announce his nominations for the government’s top cyber jobs, national cyber director and director of DHS’ Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Congress created the former position late last year to coordinate the federal government’s cyber strategy.

Biden also has not yet filled a range of important mid-level cyber positions, including the head of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, which prosecutes criminal hackers such as the ones who breached Colonial; the State Department’s top cyber diplomat, who leads U.S. efforts to develop internationally recognized norms of responsible behavior in cyberspace; and the head of the Energy Department’s cybersecurity office, which works with energy companies to protect vital facilities. And late Monday, POLITICO reported that Michael Sulmeyer, a senior director for cyber policy at the White House's National Security Council, had left this job earlier in the day.

Hey dumbass, how was a pipeline that was less than 10% complete supposed to help with this issue?

Timing of this post is incredible considering the pipeline was turned back on 30 minutes later.

Looks like somebody follows Lil Donnie Jr on twitter! And then nearly regurgitates a Politico article word for word. You're doing the Lord's work, Reff.

Biden put on a sweater, then rolled up his sleeves and personally fixed the pipeline.

He may have gotten the story from Fox News. Instead of reporting on Cheney's ouster, the top story on the Fox website this morning was a large photo of a slack-jawed, confused-looking Biden with the headline to the effect that the walls are already caving in on the "hapless" Biden Administration. I believe it also had a story on how Biden could be another Jimmy Carter.

"Under Trump, we were energy independent. Now their is a gas shortage. Who misses Trump now?"

This is the exact dumb crap that republicans win with. I see it all over facebook from people I went to high school with in small town South Carolina.

How would it be Biden's fault a private company had their network hacked. If the government did try to create some type of cyber security regulations that private companies had to implement, Republicans would cry socialism and government overreach.

Outside of the wildness of this thread. We got to catch the fucks that did this right? I mean this is a yuge attack on America, I’m not blaming anyone for it happening but we need stop these attacks from recurring.

So much dumb in the OP. The pubs are so thirsty for *anything* they can try and pin on Joe and this is the best they have so far. COVID way better, economy booming (despite last couple of days on wall street), his approval rating is quite steady.

At any rate, another reason we need to pivot away from fossil fuels.

This has been going around:

So... Russia is massing troops on the border with Ukraine. Ukraine is threatening to take Crimea back by force. China is threatening Taiwan and its neighbors while also threatening our ships and Navy. N Korea is testing missiles again and restarting their nuclear weapons program. Iran has been emboldened and making more than their normal threats.
Our southern border is a humanitarian disaster caused directly by this administration, and the administration that promised transparency is hiding it and not letting the media have access. Ford is closing a plant and moving it to Mexico after just bringing it back from Mexico because of the current Administration’s plan for Increased taxes.
Price of steel up 145%,
Lumber 126%,
Wheat up 25%,
Food index up 25%,
Cotton 35%,
Silver 38%,
Copper 50%,
Soybeans 71%,
Oil 80%,
Gas shortage.
Pipeline jobs lost.
Wall construction jobs lost.
1.9 trillion in stimulus that funds the administrations pet projects and only paid a fraction to the people.
29 trillion in debt with 4.8 trillion projected 2021 deficit before the 2 trillion dollar stimulus proposed today for the new green deal. 🤦‍♂️
9+% unemployment with millions of job openings that can’t be filled because federal unemployment assistance makes it more advantageous for people to stay home than work.
All in the first 113 days. The current president is a disaster hold on tight the next 4 years are going to be a rough ride. All I'm saying is...you Biden supporters aren’t posting very much about the great things he’s doing.
Come on, help us understand how this is all good.
Someone tell me how this is better. I'm open to reason.
Biden supporters.....I can’t hear you?

Wake up America!

Copied and Pasted.

i'm not sure i believe that biden is doing a great or even above average job, but he's not a horse in a hospital so i'm happy.

Yo Reff you are officially diagnosed with Boomer Brain. Come on man. Copy and pasting shit like this is super lame.

The dumbest thing about the post is that the premise is completely off. Biden is focused on expanding the variety of energy sources rather than being dependent on oil. An oil embargo or hack of a pipeline can cause quite an effect as we've seen. That effect is lessened when people have lots of options for energy.

People with EVs on the East Coast literally haven't blinked.

The most shocking thing is that people are surprised that the original post was dumb. There was absolutely no chance that it wasn't going to be dumb, given who it was posted by. The only reason I opened the thread was to get a good laugh.
