Coach K Retiring After This Season

So thankful we have our new regime in place prior to all of this.
 
I'm sure this has absolutely nothing to do with Brad Stevens getting fired this morning.

This is the scenario we thought we had escaped.

The timing is disconcerting. Still can't see Duke hiring someone without the K connection.

Goodman is reporting that Scheyer is the likely replacement.

If you thought dook had easy regions in the past, just wait until we see this upcoming bracket. They will guarantee one last final four.

Stevens didn't get fired, he was elevated to team president and the reports are that he was burnt out with coaching.

Bro. C'mon. What do you think they're going to say? I'm sure most NBA coaches are burned out over the crazy last 15 months. Stevens will be back on a sideline.

Regardless of how they announced it, Brad Stevens is available to be a head coach in the right situation.
 
They are already officially naming Scheyer as coach-in-waiting.
 
Wow. OK. Forbes vs. Hubert Davis and Scheyer sounds pretty good to me.
