Apparently he is unaware of the extra draft opportunity attending JuCo gives baseball players. Upon completion of JuCo, baseball players are eligible to be drafted by professional baseball. Players who go to four year schools are not eligible to be drafted after their second year. They have to have completed three years of college.
Therefore, many high school baseball players enroll in junior college even though they are academically qualified for four year colleges. It is part of a strategy to maximize drsft opportunities. Tweeting about enrollment gives the players a way to let (MLB and college) baseball scouts know where to find them.
