Pro Hoops Deacs - Jake LaRavia with 89 points in last three games of the season

Any news about Muscious or Dallas ?

I've been searching Twitter pretty frequently. Basically the only hits on Dallas and Mucius right now are the really hardcore NBA fans who have put together "wish lists" for their team to sign post-draft. Quite a few people have mentioned them... but no real news or official signing yet. As others have noted summer leagues are starting up in a few weeks. Dallas had a good workout for the Raptors supposedly so I wouldn't be surprised to see him land there.

A lot of guys haven't signed anywhere yet. Charlie Moore (Pistons) signed this afternoon. Manek (Hornets) and McGusty (Pistons) just signed in the last few hours. Buddy Boeheim (Pistons again) signed a few minutes ago. Just keep checking.

The Raptors drafting Koloko may have been bad for Walton. Not sure if they'll but another 7-footer on their summer league team.

The story I heard is like 88 said. A Murray State coach happened to see Ja playing with the “B” group when he went down the hall from the A gym to get refreshments.

List of undrafted ACC POY?

I believe Moses Wright and Alondes are the only ACC POYs to go undrafted.

Back in the 60s and 70s the draft was a lot longer though. Charlie Davis was drafted in the 8th round after his POY year.

Walton signed to play with Wofford TBT team which conflicts with Summer League. Seems that accepted policy now from Covid is that 2 way contracts are gtd at 50% of rookie minimum so ManMan making above $500k.

The TBT is clearly a backup plan. If he gets on a Summer League roster, he’s going.

He could play with one of his best comps in Bruce Brown and who better to receive his passes than KD.

Hawks continuing to pursue trades for Collins.

“It’s understandable if that upsets some fans. Collins is a talented player capable of putting up 20 and 10 any night. He’s a standup guy and is well liked by teammates. But trading him seems unavoidable for two reasons: 1. Team president Travis Schlenk and owner Tony Ressler have acknowledged they erred by effectively standing pat after the team’s run to the Eastern Conference finals; 2. If the Hawks desire to change their look and acquire a player of value, they have only two on the roster who realistically have that kind of trade value.

One is Young, who’s not going anywhere. The other is Collins, who logically is going somewhere.

Collins has not asked to be traded, but at this point it would be understandable if he would welcome an exit. He has been a walking trade rumor for two years. There were reports Thursday that Atlanta has discussed dealing him to San Antonio for All-Star guard Dejounte Murray, a deal that would give Atlanta an explosive backcourt. Murray has two years left on his contract so that trade could be made at any time, but the Hawks presumably wanted to get through the draft and take time to weigh their options.”
