"Kentucky Athletics launches website for the NIL Era - ABC 36 News" https://www.wtvq.com/2021/06/30/kentucky-athletics-launches-website-for-the-nil-era/

They are not the first. At Texas A&M a fansite, TexAgs, has paid Isaiah Spiller and Demani Richardson $10K each to appear in exclusive interviews on the site according to USA Today. I don't think the site is officially affiliated with A&M, though. Grapevine has it (take it for what it's worth) that a Texas site is likewise paying players for interviews on the site. U of Miami has a booster who owns a chain of martial arts gyms and will pay Hurricane players $500 a month to promote the gym on social media. TCU coach Patterson claimed in an interview that the Horned Frogs have already lost 2 players to the portal, going for more money. This was in a talk he gave to booster apparently trying to recruit them to set up some way to get money to players. According to him, at least two SEC schools are offering guaranteed money to transfers. This is going beyond simply contracting with some company to advise players how to build a brand, etc. Again according to Patterson, there are no longer any rules.

LSU and Caesars Sportsbook announced Friday that they have entered into a multi-year sponsorship agreement, making Louisiana's flagship state university the first in the Southeastern Conference to enter a financial partnership with a gambling company.

The deal also comes as national rules governing college sports have begin to allow college athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness (NIL) without jeopardizing their eligibility. It remains unclear whether players older than 21 will be able to participate in any of Caesar's advertising campaigns at LSU or around the state.
