The official running the table thread

If there was ever a year for LOWF to run the table, it's this year. The stars are aligned, just gotta tap it in.

if we're going to dream about this, may as well ask about GameDay locations for 11/13:

#1 UGA at Tennessee
Minnesota at #2 Iowa
#4 Oklahoma at Baylor
New Mexico State at #5 Alabama
Purdue at #6 Ohio State
#8 Michigan at #7 Penn State (ok this one might be a problem)
Washington State at #9 Oregon
Maryland at #10 Michigan State
#11 Kentucky at Vanderbilt
TCU at #12 Oklahoma State
#21 Texas A&M at #13 Ole Miss (another possible problem)
#14 Notre Dame at Virginia
Georgia State at #15 Coastal Carolina
#22 NC State at #16 Wake Forest

Gameday was just in Happy Valley for the Auburn game. Better hope A&M falls off.

Is Michigan v. Penn State a Fox game? If so, no Gameday.

Since we had Game Day at Wake last year for the Clemson game - albeit a Covid game - do you really think Wake would get 2 Game Days in 2 years after never having one in the history of the world?

They owe us a real one this time :)

Penn st / Ohio st and Michigan / Michigan state are both on 10/30 so Penn state and Michigan could both drop.

Ole miss plays Tennessee, LSU, and auburn before Texas A&M. And Texas A&M also plays auburn before that game. So potential losses there too.

we'll be undefeated for at least one more week

i guarantee it!

Once again - y'all don't have to worry about Penn State. They were there last month.

Oxford is the big competition - Gameday hasn't been there since 2014.

State would need to go 4-0 @BC, @Miami, vs Louisville, and @FSU to set up a Gameday worthy matchup. 9-0 Wake would probably be top 10. 8-1 State would probably be not too far behind.

More concerned about Wake winning than Gameday Be 9-0, fuck the preshow.

If Wake is still unbeaten and State doesn't fall off a cliff (possible) I think they'd have to come. Any unbeaten team in November is bound to be featured, and they'll almost certainly be seeing Michigan when they play Mich. State in three weeks. Doubt A&M-Ole Miss will have any significant implications

Few things I'm willing to guarantee but us being in the top 10 if we're 9-0 is close to it. Too many teams will take on Ls in the next four weeks -- upsets will occur and plenty of teams ahead of us are playing each other

All this "running the table" talk makes me nervous. Can we do it? Yes. Will we do it? Hmmm. Every team left on our schedule (except maybe Duke) is capable of beating us, particularly the way we've played the last two weeks. Clemson, State, and BC will be tough outs. Who knows what UNC team will show up? Army? We'd better learn to stop the run. Clemson can't get any worse and will probably improve. It's tough end of season schedule.
