Official 2021-22 NBA Offseason Thread - Warriors extend Poole and Wiggins

Jerking a guy by the jersey so he is slammed to the ground after arm to head and could get badly injured??? What do you want a punch between the pupils???

agreed, imo it was an obvious ejection bc of the jersey pull

crazy it took so long for payton to break out. wonder how much of it is being part of a strong org like the dubs.

So dumb they don't go to monitors here.

disagree, it’s been amazing to not have perpetual delays and these close out of bounds calls are effectively random anyway. replay gets the spirit of oob wrong a lot and overturned too many close plays imo

feel like it would be best for the nba to get strict about lane violations -- pretty straightforward and the abuse of the non-calls is ridiculous

Yeah the lane violations drive me nuts

And the ones they call come off as so petty and unnecessary compared to something like that.

But whining whiners are why we can’t have late game review anymore. Whine less next time, whiners.

doesn't feel like tearing an Achilles can be reduced to being past their prime but maybe i'm nitpicking

Torn Achilles, torn quad, torn acl. He returned from the torn quad in 6(!) weeks just to play in the finals.

It takes longer than it should, but replays on OOB are usually definitive. I prefer getting the call correct.

they were reviewing every questionable call to check if its correct so they made this rule. but in this instance they had no idea, obviously they should always check it in those instances.

makes sense in theory but imo practically speaking, a jump ball is really no more random than whose finger tip touched the ball a millisecond before someone else as they were in contact with each other.
