I watched it. It's good. Never read the book or watched the original movie.

It's annoying that's it's only part 1 and part 2 isn't even greenlit yet. REALLY ANNOYING. I guess I'll read the book.

I compromised and got drunk enough that I don't really remember what I watched
 
My memories of Dune: Sting in a diaper. Some old dude with impossible eyebrows. Kyle Maclachlan mentally screaming "Vichyssoise" at giant worms. And The Spice Must Flow.
 
Who takes longer as a writer? GRRM on any book since 3, or SLT on his Dune mafia game?
