Hopefully, he was given a much higher ceiling to attract a top-shelf DC. If we are going from good to great, he has to make some off-season changes.
Look at what Venables does for Clemson. We need that type of intensity on the defensive side of the ball.

I don’t know but I remember a ton of students going over to Skips office to hold a rally to get him to stay. I honestly think it affected his decision.

Pretty sure they always have representation. Might have been the same agent who negotiated his move to Wake unless he changed agents.

Eh it was a more mysterious turn of events than him “moving up to the pros” - it wasn’t like he became an MLS coach, definitely seemed like it personal reasons for a very sudden decision to move the Pacific Northwest to be the coach of the Timber’s USL feeder team. He only coached there for 1 season before he took the Pitt job. It’s a very strange situation and someday I would like to learn the real reason why he left so suddenly and returned to the ACC so quickly
