So Where do we finish in Final CFB Rankings?

Voters are unlikely to do that kind of research on WFU, IMO. Losing its top RBs and WRs last year didn’t keep the Heels out out the top 10.

Wake will have the "returning top 10 offense" story to tell and sell. Sam Hartman chasing conference career records. 1000 yard receiver returning plus big time receiver from two years ago back from injury. Offensive line five starters back. (Hopefully that includes an all-ACC LT).

I don’t trust pundits to do their research on Wake. This time it’s too easy. Elite offense and almost everyone is coming back. Bad defense but new DC. There’s no reason to have us below #3 in the Atlantic.

And Wake needs this kind of an easy start to rankings. Top 15 to end 21. Start 22 there. Hartman chasing records. Top 10 offense with "almost everybody back." Start 3-0 with big offense numbers. Easy for voters to put Wake on their ballots.

We needed to finish top 15 and we did. Hell of a season.
