Virginia’s liquor stores are half empty with the shortage predicted to extend for several more months.

What’s the situation in NC?

Quick, have the hand sanitizer companies switch to ethanol.

In December, the W-S stores I visited were depleted, as OP has described.

I went to a random ABC store in Hickory around Christmas, and they were fully stocked with a wide selection.

it's not my fault 2&2 has a shitty job that can't be done from home. get elite if you want to get in on the party!
 
My ABC store seemed fully stocked by just a quick glance. But I was quickly in and out. They had been closed for a while due to no staff.
