Missed dordle too. Got 4/5 on the third to last guess, but could not think of a word that simultaneously eliminated B, H, W, P, M, F, possibly some others.

Today's word is the essence of bullshit. I'm still undefeated, but if I had started when NYT took over, I wouldn't have had time to develop the elimination strategy that I've grown fond of. I would have been wrecked several times.

I don't think there have been any plural words or those ending in -ed but I could be wrong
