I mean it’s a huge W at this point in the season and against a team that is high enough in the standings to give us an open door to a double bye. We are huge FSU fans from this point forward.
 
It is a massive win, I don't care who they had out or the circumstances. We beat FSU twice this year, they were considered an NCAA team before the season started and Hamilton has fielded consistently good-to-great teams for like 5-7 years now.

This is a big step up for the program, Forbes and the team. These are the games you need to win to get back to the top of the conference, where the Deacs belong!

5 minute drought from 11:30ish on, they cut it to 2, then to 1, and we sealed it to win by 8.

Tough team with many dynamic pieces.

Williamson corner 3 was enormous to stop the bleeding when things were quickly headed south

winning both games by over 30 points combined!
 
I just don't see how it would be inexcusable to lose to an acc rival, on the road, in a venue we haven't won at in fourteen years. Some of y'all are mental

That 3, the Mucius 3, then the Monsanto 3. All just huge shots a critical times. None of them would've mattered if we didn't have that stretch of shutdown defense for a huge chunk of the first half. Hard to notice it given the abomination we were on offense at the time, but holding a lead despite a million turnovers and like 1/whatever from deep was what made that win possible. Ugly, gritty, but whatever. It's a win.
 
The defense was good today. Other than Buddy Boeheims explosion the Deacs have been good. Seemed we made them shoot on the run just out of the lane.

This team has game. C and PG are the keys. Our big guys look great then terrible. Williamson and Whitt are small vs. other guards. They do get posted.
 
On Sy, some times he's good, some times he's not good. He took at least one charge earlier but we did get him 3 wide open looks (well, one Alondes threw it between his legs) but he seemed surprised he was wide open under the basked.

Walton seemed to struggle with the ball down low as well.

At lease Zeke turned it around in the 2nd half.

It's a good win because, if FSU stays in the top 100, no one is going to look back and see the double double we gave up. It would have been a terrible loss if we missed a 'layup' of an opportunity for an ACC road win.

Jake is amazing with his abilities around the basket, but strange that he totally dominated UNC and the 2nd half of this game but there are times he doesn't look for his shot.
