"One of the largest events" in Groves Stadium history | Paul McCartney Sat, May 21

would have been HUGE to get Paul and his buddies to open Groves stadium in 1968

Can somebody actually provide an example of an event that they would feel would meet their expectation?

lol wow that's pretty stark

There is no way it’s really McCartney right? No way he can sell out a football stadium. I would imagine he’s typically playing 5k person venues.

This is either a masterful troll job or one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen.

It’s easy to both 1) not be excited about a certain performer and 2) understand it’s significance

A bunch of ordinary men living ordinary lives complaining that Paul McCartney is not a big deal. I love the internet.

Those are pretty big venues for a guy who would be lucky to fill a 5k seat arena.

The guy's like eighty years old. It could be his last tour. He's a legend!

The only acts that would be a bigger deal would be: Elvis, Prince, Michael Jackson. Unfortunately, they are not available
