Such a funny dynamic. UL coveting our coach and we’re talking about stealing away their best player. College sports are wild these days.

Pegues left him in Louisville for tonight's game at VT; clearly not in a favorable spot in that program.

He was suspended earlier this season. Guess he's just hanging on until the season ends next week. His eligibility will be exhausted at the end of the season.
 
Curry had 18 and 11 for the Cards tonight in their 30 point loss.
 
I understand the early numbers for Curry are not favorable, but clearly there's more going on at UL that has kept him from being productive. Can't fathom some folks here looking at his recent production and claiming he wouldn't beat desirable addition to this squad. It's not like he's getting hot from outside and this is a blip. Dude's a banger and has the physicality to keep that up.

There are stories that he was out of shape early in the season and that he had a sprained ankle about 1/3 into the season. The ankle seems to be healed and he apparently is better acquainted with their strength and conditioning coach. Seems to have made a huge difference in his game performances.

Could be he didn't take well to Mack's style of coaching but is reacting much better to Mike Pegues.
