That's because Buzzdick did the impossible and killed the hoops program so bad that the IHOP across from LJVM went out of business.

FWIW, I'm a Waffle House guy too. I have a few hazy memories of hitting that Waffle House way the hell out on 52 I think at 3am for some scattered/smothered/covered goodness.
 
We used to do Biscuitville for breakfast and either Bell Brothers or K&W for cheap dinners back in the day. Never Coliseum Kitchen but occasionally Akron Diner. Would frequently see Big House at Bell Brothers.
