Well deserved on the AD awards as an easy winner with what he has done with most of the programs and great leadership in cleaning up what was quite a mess with bball in amazingly quick fashion. He has been a great communicator with fans as well as it appears he does a great job supporting each of the programs since his arrival. Truly the Anti-Wellman.

Congrats!

Totally agree.

Very much deserved. His leadership is already paying dividends.

Well deserved and a breath of fresh air from Wellman. While not perfect, our community outreach and digital marketing campaign are LIGHT years ahead of where they were before his tenure.

Really wish we could have made the tourney just to add points to our Directors Cup standings, but we shouldn’t still have a great finish

Truly gifted man…well, yeah, he is a Wake man!

Currie definitely put in the work to deserve this award. Hiring a new basketball coach in the midst of Covid shutdowns and continuing to build and update facilities so all the coaches have the tools they need to succeed.

Congrats to John Currie!
